The Osaka International Peace Centre opened in 1991 in Osaka Castle Park. Today it focuses on the extent of the American bombing of Osaka in 1944 and 1945. It exhibits documents relating to war experiences. It also houses a library and a video section. In the auditorium there are numerous events such as film screenings, lectures and concerts.
