It's an audacious gamble for Air France: in 2026 the airline will open a direct service between Paris and Las Vegas. After unsuccessful attempts by XL Airways and Level, the French flag carrier is now trying its luck on this transatlantic route.

To remember: From 15 April 2026, Air France will offer three direct flights a week between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Las Vegas (Nevada), operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays on board an Airbus A350-900.

  • Flight AF56 will leave Paris at 1.40pm and land in the famous "gambling city" at 3.35pm (local time).
  • The return flight AF57 will take off from Las Vegas at 5.50pm, arriving in Paris at 1.05pm the following day.

This opening will make Las Vegas the 19ᵉ US destination served by Air France and the 26ᵉ in North America.

A long-awaited return after several years' absence

This announcement marks the return of a direct flight between Paris and Las Vegas, which has been interrupted for several years. Until now, Air France has only operated a few occasional flights. Before it, two French airlines had tried to establish themselves on this route:

  • XL Airways France, now defunct, launched a seasonal Paris-Las Vegas route in 2010, which was renewed in summer 2011. It offered two weekly flights (Thursday and Sunday) with Go Voyages. Despite a load factor of around 72%, the route was abandoned in autumn 2011 due to a lack of profitability.
  • Level, the long-haul low-cost subsidiary of the IAG group, inaugurated a direct Paris-Orly-Las Vegas route on 30 October 2019, with two flights a week (Wednesday and Sunday). Single tickets started at €99, in the spirit of long-haul low-cost.

In 2026, Air France is banking on a card that has already been played, but with different assets: a modern aircraft, a premium positioning and a solid international network. It remains to be seen whether the gamble will pay off this time.

In any case, we are convinced that Las Vegas is a must-see experience, a city that you must visit at least once in your life. A true symbol of excess, it stands in the heart of the Nevada desert, offering a setting that is as spectacular as it is unique. Whatever you're looking for, there's a good chance you'll find it here: extravagant hotels, legendary casinos, renowned restaurants, glittering boutiques, grandiose shows and a vibrant nightlife. Every year, almost 40 million visitors from all over the world flock here to enjoy this extraordinary experience. Will you be one of them?
