This two-cabin cable car, which runs through and down, leads you to the San Jacinto summit where you will find an unforgettable view of the Salton Sea deserts and the Anza-Borrego Desert to the Joshua Tree National Park. You can randonner in Mount Jacinto or even camping (permit to ask from the Rangers) or, more simply, enjoy the view, watch one of the presentation videos and eat a tip with the panorama on the valley.

Une attraction incontournable lorsqu’on se trouve à Palm Springs : le tramway permet de monter jusqu’au Mont Jacinto d’une façon originale. Une fois arrivé, on profite d’une vue magnifique sur la ville aux mille palmiers, sur les centaines d’éoliennes, sur la faille de San Andreas, etc... Cette excursion est d’autant plus agréable qu’elle permet de quitter la chaleur accablante qui règne en ville l’été et de se retrouver sous une température presque fraîche ! Possibilité de restauration au sommet mais nourriture de base.

Ce téléphérique relie Palm Sprinsg au sommet du mon San Jacinto. On y observe une végétation changeante avec l'altitude La vue sur Palm Springs et la faille de San Andreas est sans égal.
