There's a Greek feel to this shaded patio tavern, located slightly on the edge of the Malibu Country Mart. The white walls, window frames and turquoise doilies contribute to the change of scenery. After the hearty and authentic Greek salad, the grilled octopus will complete the journey to a small port in the Cyclades. Both land and sea, the menu offers a nice selection of fresh products, mainly grilled, as well as a wide assortment of mezzes, from tabbouleh to dolmathes and tarama.

Although the restaurant had potential, our experience fell short. Both the chicken and beef main courses were disappointingly dry. Additionally, despite the open seats available, we were initially seated in a cold draft by the door. It took multiple requests before our table was relocated. Unfortunately, this lack of attention to customer comfort and food quality leaves us hesitant to return.

Solid all around with a great atmosphere. A bit pricey (it is Malibu), but the portions are very good for some items and you will typically end up with leftovers.
