Mansion built for the son of oil tycoon Edward L. Doheny, with rooms and gardens for film shoots
Built in 1927 by oil tycoon Edward L. Doheny, the Greystone Park mansion was intended for his son; unfortunately, the latter was shot dead a few days after the inauguration of his home. Then, the 55 rooms and the beautiful gardens of more than 7 hectares were converted into a film location for many movies, from Ghostbusters (1984) to The Big Lebowski (1998) to Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997). In addition, several events - concerts, elegance contests, etc. - are organized throughout the year.
