A remarkable Victorian style building with a bright atrium, the oldest commercial building in Downtown Los Angeles.
In 1893, architect George H. Wyman was inspired by a science-fiction story to build this Victorian-style edifice. The result? A bright red façade, behind which awaits a luminous atrium protected by a glass roof, metal staircases and walkways, and period elevator shafts. Downtown's oldest commercial building, the Bradbury Building was completely renovated in the early 1990s. In short, it's a veritable movie set, having hosted the filming of Blade Runner (1982) and The Artist (2011).
