In 2009, the Santa Monica City Council created this public space using the 1920's residence built for actress Marion Davies. In 1994, the Annenberg Foundation helped the city to reinvent this unique place to make it a cultural and sports place open to all. Today, the beach house is a space that benefits everyone. The complex includes a swimming pool, paddleboard rental, an art gallery, a guest house and a café.
