LA DIMORA DEL CARDINALE ^{* * *}

Home of Cardinal Casimiro Gennari from 1839 to 1914, it is also one of the oldest buildings in the city. The hotel opened in 2001. It is a charming place with sixteen spacious rooms with classic furnishings, equipped with TV, air conditioning and wifi. Most of them offer a superb view of the mountain and Christ the Redeemer, or of the historic centre and the sea in the background. When the weather is fine, breakfast is served on the terrace. There is also a restaurant-pizzeria serving good local cuisine.
