Connected to Herceg Novi by a pleasant 6 km long promenade, Igalo is a small seaside resort mainly known for its famous sea mud treatment institute whose therapeutic virtues have been known for centuries. Dotted with numerous cafes and restaurants, Igalo also boasts a long sandy beach and a lively nightlife. The town itself is mainly made up of large concrete buildings erected during the communist period and having aged rather badly. It is an inexpensive resort compared to others. Ideal for students or families on a budget.
