Manizales starts the year in great shape, with the biggest cultural and festive event of the Eje Cafetero. A huge fair, with the traditional Fiesta Taurina, with bullfights and bull races(Fiesta Brava) that you probably won't like, but also folk music concerts, theater and tango shows (music and dance very popular here), and the unavoidable election of the International Queen of Coffee, with thematic parades that gather thousands of people!

La "Fiesta" dans toute son splendeur. Défilés de "jipiaos" (des vieux jeeps utilisés pour descendre le café et les bananes des montagnes) remplis à craquer de tout ce qu'on peut imager, même des frigos! Musique et spectacles par tout dans les rues et presque 24 h sur 24. Sans oublier les magnifiques "Tardes de toros": les courses de taureaux avec les étoiles mondiales de cet art (cœurs sensibles s'abstenir).
