At the end of the touristy part of the Malecón, a restaurant that has become a classic in Mompox. Walter, the Austrian chef, offers delicious Mediterranean cuisine in his workshop house, with good wood-fired pizzas that everyone loves, homemade pasta, gazpacho, salads (lobster with pesto, for example), and Austrian and Swiss specialties... We dine on large wooden tables, in a pretty patio with soft lights. The service is friendly and nice. The prices remain reasonable. A good address.

A popular restaurant that travelers love. Its main advantage is its location on the banks of the Magdalena River, under the trees, next to Mompox's main square. Typical coastal cuisine is served, with the usual lunch-only formula, starting with a hearty soup, followed by a main course of fried meat or fish, coconut rice, patacones and a few crudités, accompanied by an iced juice.
