The menu is full of goodies, including delicious norgers (the house hamburger) with fish (perch) or lamb, as well as salads and Finnish specialties. And to accompany your meal, there's nothing better than one of the many beers from the highly specialized selection. Combine all this with smiling, efficient service and you've got a great address!

The best burger restaurant in Tampere? At least, that's what the many people who queue up every day to treat themselves to an Ohana burger say! This restaurant, located in the covered market halls of Tampere, is 100% local: the bread comes from the bakery opposite and the meat from the butcher's shop next door. Service is fast and efficient, with a simple but effective menu: beef, chicken or vegetarian options, with a side of fries (including a recipe with parmesan!). In short, an ideal address!

This restaurant was voted the best restaurant in Finland! Here we are dealing with a real gastro with incredible flavours; every dish explodes in the mouth! All the ingredients come from Finland and most of them from around Tampere. In winter, they preserve the ingredients using only natural and ancestral processes that have the merit of preserving the flavours and colours. We recommend that you take the option with the wines, which are meticulously selected to best match the different dishes.

From the top of the tower (168 m), the panorama of the lakes and forests surrounding the city is exceptional. The cuisine is in keeping with the setting, with dishes that have a strong Nordic flavour, in keeping with Scandinavian culinary tradition. The reindeer (with fennel) literally melts in your mouth, as does the sweet trout starter. To be able to enjoy such a meal in such a setting is a rare experience, enhanced by service that's totally up to scratch. Reservations are highly recommended!

Opening in September 2023, this brand-new restaurant aims to be lively, epicurean, local and open to all. What does this mean in practice? First, with a warm welcome and expert service! Then, on the plate, with finely-cooked dishes that give pride of place to local produce and skilfully revisited recipes. Char, for example, is gently cooked and melts in the mouth: delicious! The menu is regularly updated, and the careful selection of wines adds a delicate touch to what looks like a flawless performance.

In Tampere's covered market, the Eurolohi restaurant is a veritable institution, well known to the locals who come here every lunchtime for a salmon dish. Because the specialty of this (very small) 100% local chain is salmon. And fresh, please! Whether on a burger, in soup, grilled, in a salad or in tacos, there's something for everyone (and even a children's menu, that's saying something). What's more, tasting such fish in the delightfully old-fashioned setting of Les Halles is an exceptional moment, to be savored to the full!

Right next to Tampere's concert hall, the Muusa, which has just reopened, is a great place to have a drink or a good meal before, why not, going to a concert. The emphasis here is on local produce, short circuits, respect for the seasons and a culinary approach that gives pride of place to natural flavours. The menu, which focuses on vegetables and plants, offers a range of dishes where eggplants rub shoulders with succulent vegetarian dumplings. There's also a very successful cocktail menu. In short, we approve!
