Yyteri is famous for its sandy beach and dunes, which stretch for six kilometers. After the calm waters of the lakes and even the archipelagos, it's a great joy to be able to hear the waves and look out to sea... not forgetting its formidable fauna, with some fifteen observation towers, ideal for watching the local birds (marsh harrier, shelduck, plover and sandpiper). To get there, take bus 32 from Pori market square for 15 km. A day's detour, ideal for discovering another side of Finland (especially on fine summer days)!
