It is the second most populous municipality. It borders Mariehamn with three main villages: Kyrkby, Gottby and Onningeby. It offers unspoilt countryside and is home to migratory birds.Don't miss St. Olof's Church, the oldest church on the archipelago, built in the early 12th century. The transept, which also serves as the entrance, dates from the 19th century. Remains of wall frescoes and very old 14th-century wooden sculptures can be admired.Access: take bus 2, 3 or 4 to Kyrkby or bus 5 to Onningeby, about 10 minutes. You can also get there by bike.
