An unmistakable way to get up to Finnish time. A must: skating on the frozen Baltic Sea, weather permitting.

In winter, there's plenty of choice for those who like to glide on ice (even on the frozen sea!), and when the weather permits, some soccer pitches are transformed into city-maintained ice rinks. This open-air rink, with music in the background and a café nearby, is one of the city's most popular and spacious. Half the rink is reserved for ice hockey fans.
