Right in the center of town, the superb station with its magnificent facade is a jewel of Finnish Art Nouveau. Daily departures for the whole country as far as Lapland, but also for Europe and Russia (St. Petersburg and Moscow). Did you know that the track gauge in Finland was adapted to Russia, not Europe? (In fact, we recommend watching Marcel Lozinski's short documentary 89 mm from Europe ) This partly explains why there are no direct train connections to Sweden.

The airport, 19 km from the city centre, is a human-sized airport platform with two adjacent terminals. You will be out of there very quickly, luggage in hand, ready to face the extreme cold or the endless day. Good news: wifi is completely free in the airport. 24-hour parking service. A tourist office is open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm (May-September) and from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm and on Sundays from 12pm to 6pm (October to April).

Here you can make your reservations or contact them during office hours to prepare your trip to or from Germany (Travemünde, just over 27 hours crossing time) and Rostock (return trip once a week, one and a half days crossing time). For plane-phobics, from Travemünde you can easily take a train (with change, approx. 10 hours) or bus (approx. 16 hours) to France. The company also offers cruises and seasonal connections between Naantali and the Åland archipelago.

The information and sales office is on your right, when you enter the shopping centre. It is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm, Saturday from 8am to 4pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. For buses departing for Espoo, the departure is on the ground floor of the shopping centre. For buses departing for other cities, the departure takes place in the basement of Kamppi. Docks 1 to 35 are located in the basement and docks 41 to 57 on the ground floor of the shopping centre. From there, buses also allow you to access the national park such as Sipoo.
