Borsh/Borshi has around 1,000 inhabitants and is part of the municipality of Himara. The village lies 16 km southwest of Himara(via Porto Palermo and Qeparo). Minibus connections to Vlora, Saranda and the "Albanian Riviera". Situated 1 km above the shore, in a deep valley carved out by a torrent, Borsh is the only predominantly Muslim Albanian village on the "Albanian Riviera", with a strong Bektashi community. The village is best known for its beach, the longest in the region, and for the springs that flow down from the mountain. Beautiful views from the fortress overlooking the village.
