Lin/Lini (Лин/Lin in Macedonian) has around 1,000 inhabitants and is part of the municipality of Pogradec. The village lies 20 km north of Pogradec, 36 km southwest of Ohrid (North Macedonia). Minibus connections to Pogradec. Situated on a peninsula on Lake Ohrid, this village of Albanian and Slavo-Macedonian fishermen boasts a small beach, restaurants and a few B&Bs. The place is especially worth a visit for its 6th-century mosaics (on view in September and October) on a hill overlooking the lake. Another nearby site: the Illyrian tombs carved into the rock in the village of Selca.
