Beautiful fortified house. Traditional costumes, reconstruction of typical Berat interiors.

This national museum (Muzeu Etnografik në Berat) is housed in a beautiful traditional 18th century fortified house. On the first floor, traditional costumes and objects from the 19th century are displayed. Then you enter the tchardak, an open gallery that served as a resting place. Next to it is the guest room, with its low table(sofra) and small balcony(mafil), from which the women made sure that the men and their guests did not lack anything.

Accueil souriant, beau cadre. Plongeon un siècle auparavant dans une ancienne maison reconstitué, bien documenté pour une visite simple et efficace. Fin de journée pour les belles lumières sur la terrasse.
