Unique hotel in the Berat citadel. Inexpensive, beautiful interior, simple, clean rooms. Good restaurant with terrace.
This is the only hotel inside the citadel. The family who run this pretty traditional house offer a warm welcome (in Greek or English). Simple, clean rooms. The breakfast is pleasant and copious, with homemade jam, eggs or omelette, toast, cheese, tea, espresso, etc. It is served on the terrace with a beautiful view of the citadel. It's served on the terrace with its beautiful panorama in summer, or in the small rustic room in winter. The restaurant is also worth the climb, with its home-made products (fresh goat's cheese) and even kokorec (skewered offal) on request.
