Koman/Komani is a village of around 200 inhabitants belonging to the Temal municipality. It lies 55 km northeast of Shkodra along the SH25, which runs alongside the River Drin and Lake Vau i Dejës. Minibus from Shkodra and Valbona. This village gives its name to the large artificial lake of Koman. It is the starting point for boats making the beautiful crossing of Lake Koman to the hamlet of Fierza. From here, you can also reach the Fierza artificial lake. Koman comes alive from April onwards and boasts a number of hotel-restaurants and campsites, useful if you've missed the departure of the small ferries or if there's no more room on board.
