JAZZ IN ALBANIA

Created in 2011, this international jazz festival now takes place in three different cities: Tirana, then Fier (and the nearby archaeological site of Apollonia of Illyria) and finally Pogradec. Quite specialized, it regularly features musicians from the Balkans, but also from France (notably via the France Balkans Jazz network), Germany, Spain... As jazz has only recently begun to develop in Albania, this is an opportunity to discover local artists such as singer Elina Duni or pianist and accordionist Gent Rushi.
