5 km from the town of Elisovo and 40 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, the resort of Moroznaya is the most popular among downhill skiers. It has two ski lifts at an altitude of 1,000 m and five beautiful downhill slopes. Equipment hire on site: snowboard kit 1000 RUB/day + deposit. The flagship discipline of the resort is ski mountaineering, a combination of downhill and climbing. Competitions are regularly organised.
