The Isola 2000 project was born in 1947 when an Englishman, discovering the marvellous site of Chastillon, decided to set up a winter sports resort there. The idea made its way to 1964, when the town council adopted the principle of creating a winter sports resort on the Chastillon plateau. The inauguration took place in 1972. Today, the resort of Isola 2000 offers 120 km of runs. In the heart of the Southern Alps, in the Mercantour massif, 97 km from Nice, it is now a very famous resort, partly thanks to its location. Snow and sunshine for the great pleasure of lovers of all board sports.
