This astonishing seaside resort, built in the 1920s, exudes a delightful Roaring Twenties atmosphere, old-fashioned and grandiloquent, with its large tree-lined driveways and beautiful Anglo-Norman or Art Deco villas. Very popular with the Parisian bourgeoisie, it was a popular destination until the end of the 1930s. The station borders an immense fine sand beach, surmounted by dazzling dunes bristling with oyats. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Brittany, a famous spot for sand yachting, surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing. At the very end, a dune spire closes the Islet estuary, a lagoon shaped by the tides.
