Second city of the island, Esperanza is nevertheless a very small town. Quite lively in high season, from December to mid-March, it regains its legendary calm as soon as spring comes. Apart from the very pleasant walk along the shore that follows the main street of Esperanza, Flamboyan Street, there is not much to report. Everything happens on this street: restaurants, bars, water sports... Although less populated than Isabel II, Esperanza does not lack accommodation offers, for all budgets. It is also the starting point for excursions to Mosquito Bay, the brightest bioluminescent bay in Puerto Rico.
