If you take the Carmelo road, after Parque Anchorena, at km 223 of Ruta 21, you can take a detour that leads to a small and peaceful village, built at the end of the 19th century by the same English company that built the port of Buenos Aires. Here you can admire some old houses with a certain European influence, in addition to the English cemetery where David Evans, one of the great instigators of local tourism, is buried (his house can also be visited). Located a few kilometers southwest of the village, visit the old port of Puerto de Conchillas, which has been declared a national historic heritage site.
