Several companies serve the different regions and cities of the country: COT and COPSA mainly. Among the destinations: Piriápolis, Rocha, José Ignacio, Montevideo, La Barra, Manantiales, San Carlos (bus every 30 minutes or so), Maldonado, Chuy, Minas... Schedules vary according to the season. To reach Buenos Aires, it is best to stop in Montevideo (Tres Cruces) and change buses, or to take the Buquebus ferry company that leaves for Montevideo and reaches the Argentine capital by ferry.
