Inaugurated in 2002, the Montevideo Center of Photography organizes interesting, free and sometimes provocative temporary exhibitions that promote photography as a means to generate debate and critical reflection on Uruguayan identity. It is possible to visit other of their outdoor installations in the Parque Rodó near the Casino, in the Parque Prado, in the Ciudad Vieja as well as in the Peñarol. It's definitely worth a visit.
