Located less than five kilometers northeast of Hakone, Sengokuhara is actually part of the same town. The place is known for hosting the museum dedicated to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's Little Prince and other colourful museums such as the glass forest, the glass museum or the very pleasant botanical garden. It's not really a city, several sites are located close to each other. This makes it an ideal starting point for beautiful walks, especially around the forest that borders Hakone Lake. The pampas grass hill, several hundred meters long, is a favorite site for autumn walks.
