Easily accessible from Tokyo, the privileged site of Mount Takao offers countless possibilities: temple visits, breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys, good restaurants, fresh air, and a distant but precious view of Mount Fuji. To get there, it is advisable to choose the beginning of the week and to take the Keio line from JR Shinjuku station, and get off at Takaosanguchi station (50 min trip and ¥370).
