Through exhibitions and shows, Tokyo's history is reborn before our eyes with an impressive wealth of details.
As its name suggests, this museum is dedicated to the history of the city of Tōkyō through the ages. The architecture of the museum opened in 1993 is in itself very impressive. Specifically, visitors will go there to see models and reconstructions of the main sites of the city that have now disappeared, as well as numerous objects, photos and paintings dating from the Edo period. The museum is very well designed, the audio guide in French is excellent and everything will surely delight history buffs and lovers of the Japanese capital.
