This 80 m-long archaeological site, an ancient amphitheatre located in Tipasa, is home to Roman remains.
Direction 70 km west of Algiers, to come to discover these Roman vestiges. This archaeological site opens on the vestiges of the old amphitheatre. Long of 80 m, it is the vastest monument of the ancient city. Its arena, of ellipsoidal form, presents two doors placed at the ends of its east-west axis. It is also one of the most recent buildings of the Roman city. The terraces have almost disappeared but you can still see the tunnel through which the gladiators entered. A very nice visit in perspective!
