You can choose from nearly 200 wines that honour the house specialities: lamb fillet and its crumble, mint juice, veal sweetbreads with mountain honey and melting apricots or coq au vin à l'ancienne. Particularly recommended on cold days! This restaurant was one of the pioneers in the Portes du Soleil to offer true Alpine gastronomy back in 1953. Since then, the tradition has been perpetuated and the recipes have been enriched without ever betraying the originals!

Cocooning and warm, this restaurant, run by the friendly couple who own the Art Boutique-Hotel Beau-Séjour, is located in a historic village building. You will be welcomed in a mountainous and friendly atmosphere. The decoration is well done, whether you sit by the fire, at the bar, at a small romantic table or at a large table d'hôtes, in the smoking room or on the terrace. The speciality of the house is the wood-fired grill. The menu offers tempting variations of meats such as the Simmental beef fillet with syrah sauce.

Taking the cable car up into the air to reach the restaurant is part of the experience. High above the clouds, in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, this high-altitude restaurant is well worth the climb to savor its fine cuisine. A trendy atmosphere thanks to the touch of Julien Texier, an inspired chef with a passion for local recipes, whose creativity is expressed in his dishes. Snack-style seasonal products in the bistro's annex, the RED, with its electro music program and DJs who get skiers up and dancing.

Located opposite the cable car in the heart of the resort, this chalet welcomes skiers who come to warm up with a glass of mulled wine at the end of the day. The extensive menu features typical Valais dishes, as well as seasonal French and international cuisine. Specialties include veal liver, entrecôte parisienne and, of course, röstis and fondues. Good pizzas. A convivial address with frequent live concerts.

At altitude, on the Ripaille-Grand-Paradis piste, this is undoubtedly the place to come to regain your strength after a day in the powder. The charming building is located at the entrance to the Défago galleries opposite Champéry. Wood-fired raclette and Sunday lunch spit are the house specialities. There's a playground for the little ones and a pétanque court for the grown-ups, not forgetting the panoramic terrace with views over the Val d'Illiez. A country setting for a stopover in total simplicity.
