Le Coucou Hotel & restaurant is a chalet where cocooning, a good atmosphere and the art of letting go are the order of the day. On the terrace, curled up in our deckchair, we are dazzled by the sublime view of Lake Geneva and its mountains. Since its construction in 1959, when Vera Rust launched her rotisserie, the high-altitude restaurant has remained a favorite spot for family and friends to gather after an alpine escape. The cosy chalet is decorated in a mountain style, with animal skins, candles and background music harmoniously combined.

Le Coucou Restaurant-Hotel-Café is a traditional Swiss chalet located 1.150 meters above sea level, in Caux/Montreux. The Chalet is famous for its altitude restaurant, its terrace with a panoramic view on Lake Geneva, the Alps, and for its 7 exclusive Chalet Chic wooden rooms. The Coucou has also has 6 simple and economical Alpine rooms with sanitary facilities on the floor. Le Coucou has been entirely renovated with materials from centuries-old mountain farms. You’ll be welcomed in a unique historic place which was opened in 1959. This iconic hotel & restaurant has greeted celebrities and royalty for the last 60 years. Our natural cuisine uses only high-quality local products and our dishes are made by our chef and his team in our kitchen. We shall ensure that you feel comfortable, we will make sure that your meals are exceptional experiences and we will share with you our best Swiss and international wines and our selection of champagnes. We will offer you the most simple and beautiful wooden rooms with a view on the Alps or the Lake of Geneva. Le Coucou is a way of life, practicing the art of hospitality.
