The charming village of La Crottaz (follow the Camping sign) offers easy access to the beach. This privileged setting has attracted many famous personalities, including journalist and writer Graham Greene. Graham Greene lived here for just one year, before passing away in Vevey with his daughter in 1991. A "talking bench" at the end of Chemin du Grand-Pin pays tribute to him. His grave is in the village cemetery. Several buses run regularly between Vevey and Corseaux. To get to the center of town, at a higher altitude, you can also take the Vevey-Mont-Pèlerin funicular (Corseaux station).
