Beautiful building housing museums of archaeology, history and natural sciences, as well as interesting exhibitions.
Built by competition between 1892 and 1904, thanks to a bequest from Gabriel de Rumine, son of Russian princes, this neo-Renaissance Florentine-style building housed the university, the library and the Fine Arts and Science museums. In the 1980s, the university was relocated. The palace now houses the Museum of Archaeology and History, the Geology Department, the Natural Sciences Museum and the Cantonal University Library. The Espace Arlaud is used for temporary exhibitions.

Le palais en soi est très joli. Il abrite plusieurs petits musés intéressants avec des thèmes divers comme la géologie, les fossiles et la monnaie.
