The frescoes date from the 14th century and were only discovered in 1897, as they had long been covered by a grey whitewash applied by the Protestant Bernese.

PELICAN BEACH

Natural site to discover

Next to the beach, there's also Pelican Park (with its bird statue) and public toilets nearby.
