Mutual aid between neighbors Geneva

This international association made up of relatives of alcoholics puts a number at the service of families, living with a dependent alcoholic or close to it, and organizes two kinds of   meetings; meetings open to anyone interested in Al-Anon (adult group) and Alateen (groups of children and adolescents) and closed meetings reserved for members of the association.

The Red Cross welcomes and assists foreigners, refugees and asylum seekers. She sent interpreters to the university hospitals in Geneva to translate their words. It helps young apprentices without housing. We will therefore understand that donations are welcome. The activities of the Red Cross can also be supported by becoming a member.   

Conceived and created by Caritas Geneva in 1977, Care is a warm meeting place where more than 150 people come from all walks of life. Activities are offered, as well as a daily user-friendly meal and health benefits. There are also clothes and a hairdresser, a total of 65 volunteers and 6 professionals who help those who need to recover, recover and regain confidence.

Volunteers will ensure that you are well looked after when you settle in Geneva. To facilitate your integration as a French-speaking person, they offer to meet you at the Hotel Kempinski once a month. They welcome you and help you to adapt, solve practical problems, meet fellow countrymen or locals thanks to conferences, café-meetings, outings, hikes and workshops. A practical welcome and a very useful supervision with the possibility of meeting people to better establish yourself.
