The Ancient Season at the Museum of Art and History in Geneva (MAH) opens with the exhibition "César and the Rhône. Ancient masterpieces of Arles". It presents a collection of remarkable objects, exceptionally on loan from the Musée départemental Arles antique and the Musée du Louvre as well as from several other institutions. The exhibition offers an immersion in the colony founded in 46 BC by Julius Caesar. Among the highlights on display are many finds made in the Rhône, including the alleged bust of the famous dictator uncovered in 2007.
