A beautiful, brightly-colored house and a shady outdoor terrace: that's the first thing you see when you arrive at this restaurant, part of which overlooks Marktgasse. While the indoor dining room is a no-go when the weather's bad, it's nice to sit under the trees on the terrace. Here, you can enjoy excellent cold dishes (mixed salad, saveloy salad, assorted charcuterie) or more substantial hot dishes, such as the famous Appenzeller Siedwurst with cheese cornettes.
