PISCINE INTÉRIEURE VOLKSBAD
Petit Futé's opinion on PISCINE INTÉRIEURE VOLKSBAD
The historic Volksbad is home to Switzerland's oldest surviving indoor swimming pool, built in 1906 in the art nouveau style. At that time, only 18% of the population had an apartment with its own bathroom. On Wednesday afternoons, the pool is reserved for children, who are entitled to numerous activities and games in the water. On Thursdays, the water is heated to over 30°C for everyone to enjoy.
