The best swimming pools St Gall

The historic Volksbad is home to Switzerland's oldest surviving indoor swimming pool, built in 1906 in the Art Nouveau style. At the time, only 18% of the population had an apartment with their own bathroom. On Wednesday afternoons, the pool is reserved for children, who enjoy a wide range of activities and games in the water. On Thursdays, the water is heated to over 30°C for all to enjoy.
