Since 1995, the name Gambrinus has been associated with jazz music and live concerts in the community of St. Gallen. A few years later, in 2004, the Gambrinus Jazz Plus Association was founded and supports jazz by organizing public events in a wide variety of styles with talented young musicians from the region. The Kugl is much more than a concert and party venue - it's a place to live! In a lively, urban atmosphere with industrial decor, the Kugl hosts a wide range of shows and events: concerts, plays, comedy evenings and clubbing nights. This national-scale municipal theater was inaugurated in 1968. Hosting dramatic, dance and music performances, the venue attracts large audiences and offers a highly eclectic program. Each season, the St. Gallen theater presents over twenty new productions, and welcomes over 150,000 spectators from all over the Lake Constance region for around 470 performances (including some 50 off-site). A must-see!
