This is the most famous and certainly the best erststockbeizli, over 500 years old, as the dark woodwork testifies. In this typical Swiss restaurant, the chef prepares excellent rösti, as well as excellent hunting dishes in winter. On the menu: sliced venison with game sauce and spätzli, the unmissable Viennese veal escalope with cranberries, grilled fish with butter and a vegetarian menu. A special feature: the floor is on a gentle slope! Service is fast and friendly, but tap water... for a fee.

Entièrement satisfait de mon déjeuner au zum goldenen à Saint-Gall. Le service est rapide et souriant comme le dit petit futé.
