What began in 1988 as a small New Year's party on Zurich's Vegetable Bridge has become an integral part of the events calendar. So much so that the event is known far beyond the country's borders. On New Year's Eve, a spectacular Swiss fireworks display attracts between 150,000 and 200,000 visitors to the lake basin and invites you to join the party. at 8 p.m., the guests gather in the city's bars, awaiting the countdown to the grand fireworks display hosted by Zurich's hoteliers. A legendary event!
