This boutique hotel, all tastefully decorated by the architect Pia Schmid, is a perfect base for exploring the city as it is located in the Niederdorf district, the heart of the old town. The only minor drawback: the constant agitation that agite the adjacent streets.

Location is really good located few minutes walk from the Central station and all shops around this area. Parking could be a nightmare but hotel has private parking which is a hassle to get in and out as you will have to get a remote to enter and return it back to reception. Same for when you need to take out the vehicle, get a key from reception and return it back. Rooms are not very well sound insulated and you will hear some noises from the outside. Reception staff is really nice and helpful. Breakfast options are limited to continental and as it's Switzerland, expensive including parking.
Overall it was a nice stay. Bathroom are see through and in our room there was no exhaust for gases to escape which could be a deal breaker for some.

Great hotel in old town. Very accessible to walking everywhere. Rooms was great for one person. Much fancier than I expected. Really cool decor and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again. Very affordable.
