The Wirtshaus Taube is a traditional restaurant with a rustic decor. It serves Swiss-German and Lucerne specialities, based on original old-fashioned recipes, in a cosy atmosphere. The menu is small but well-constructed and varied. We recommend the rösti with bacon, cheese and eggs and the cordon bleu. The terrace is superb on the banks of the Reuss, with a lovely view of the old town. The service is impeccable, smiling and efficient. Ideal for savoring Lucerne's local cuisine.
