Excellent restaurant with Italian cuisine in a historic setting in Basel.
A few metres from the restaurant At Donati, across the street, there is another Italian who does not have to face up to his competitor. Behind its historic façade, the Zur Mägd restaurant offers several rooms in different atmospheres (from the large, bright lobby for small groups, a more romantic space for dinners in mind), in a more modern spirit than at Donati. The card is not excessive, but is strengthened by a menu of the day. The classics such as the lamb fillet with herbs and squid stuffed in the oven are perfectly controlled. The service is effective.

Menú italiano con piatti sufficienti ma purtroppo adattato al gusto tedesco. Ambiente buono ma male illuminato.. Non guasterebbe un poco di savoir-faire nel servizio
