Cost-effective tea and pastries in a café-restaurant with terrace in the heart of Basel.
An oasis of calm and greenery in the heart of the city! This café-restaurant is one of our favorites. Its small terrace invites you to relax and read, with the lapping of the pretty fountain in the background. It is sometimes necessary to be patient to find a free place, during the day and in the evening. One comes here for the chess games between regulars and the mocking look of the monkey perched on the fountain. There is a wide selection of teas and home-made pastries at reasonable prices. In summer, the homemade iced tea is a must!

Кафе с возможностью посидеть на улице в хорошую погоду, слегка спрятанное от улиц с большим наплывом туристов, в историческом дворике, что предаёт некоторую сказочность этому месту.

gemütliche innenhof , schöne brunnen, kein verkehr, bei schönem wetter voll, vile gespräche, ansonsten ein platz sich mal ein kaffe crem und stuck kuchen zu holen und gemüntliche stunde ein buch lesen. ruhig ist durch die viele gespräche nicht unbediengt.

Ωραία πλατεία σε σημείο πολύ γραφικό της βασιλείας. Εχει μπύρες καφέ και ποτά και κάποια light φαγητά, είναι self service,πολυ ωραία ατμόσφαιρα χαλαρωτική

Der Café ligt an der Sonnenseite in einem der schönsten Platz Basels. Sonst wäre der Café nichts, nichts von Service, nichts von Café Qualität und noch das teureste von Basel. Richtig frech.

I like this place, usually I come here for a coffee which is strong and nice, the service is great too. The little platz where you can sit down is cozy and has a great vibe.
